NYCEDC Unveils New Building at MADE Bush Terminal and Upcoming Milestones
nARCHITECTS is working with NYCEDC to increase manufacturing and business activity along the Sunset Park waterfront at MADE Bush Terminal. Building A will open this year and deliver 140,000 square feet of leasable space for innovative manufacturing, 30,000 square feet of public gathering and event space, and five acres of surrounding public realm space.

"Designed by nARCHITECTS the pavilion at ResilienCity Park in Hoboken, NJ is set to open for the summer season. Located in a de-industrializing neighborhood, the 5.4-acre park, the city’s largest, was designed by Philadelphia-based OLIN. The park sits atop a contaminated plot of land that was capped and holds one million gallons of rainwater in detention tanks below ground. Sited at the park’s highest point, the approximately 10,000-square-foot pavilion anchors the terrace and offers panoramic views of the city and Palisades Park..."

nARCHITECTS has received the 2023 National Design Award in Architecture from Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Selected by jurors representing a wide range of design fields, the National Design Award in architecture is given to an individual or firm for their contributions to the built environment that advance the understanding of our spatial experiences.
nARCHITECTS is on the winning team for 542 Dean Street HPD M/WBE RFP
The project, spurred from a Dept of Housing, Preservation, and Development M/WBE RFP, involves building affordable housing for low-income and homeless seniors in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. nARCHITECTS' will work alongside the developer-led team to "repurpose the city-owned 17,145 square foot parking lot into Park Edge, a deeply #affordable residence with onsite health and wellness, art, and recreational programs." The Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center was awarded the Wood in Government Buildings award. Juror Julie Hiromoto said “I love that it’s a net-zero-energy project, and the story about the landscape being reclaimed from almost ten acres of concrete surface parking lot. The building nestles nicely in the landscape and I love how the shadow patterns of the wood slats juxtapose with the vertical facade.”

nARCHITECTS was awarded the 2023 National Design Award in Architecture.
